The Valley of the Lakes

The Valley of Lakes, consisting of the three lakes of Gerardmer, Longemer and Retournemer, is a direct heritage of the Quaternary ice ages.

1 - Gerardmer, the pearl of the Vosges, is the largest lake in the Vosges (115.5 ha).

2 - Longemer, at the foot of the Vosges mountains (76 ha), is a paradise for fishermen
